Tailor-Made Transactions

Bombyx’s growth capital transactions include primary and/or secondary equity investments, ranging between €2 and 9 million and beyond. Holding periods are typically between 5 and 7 years. We offer well-designed deal arrangements that can be partially adjusted to the individual needs of the target and its individuals.

Pan-European Strategy

Bombyx’s main geographic investment area is Europe. To a limited extent, Bombyx will additionally complement its portfolio with selected investments in Asia, mostly India.

Active Ownership Approach

Bombyx takes majority positions (under certain conditions minority positions) and acts as an active investor typically represented on the board of the target company.

Bombyx conducts itself as a working partner of the portfolio company to jointly contribute to robust value creation. The experience of the investment advisors’ team and the leverage of their external resources allow them to effectively support portfolio companies across all parts of the product value chain including strategic positioning, human resources, internationalization, operational improvements, strategic alliances and financial and transaction matters.
